Research and Development
The Blockfoil Group is unique in its industry with the commitment it gives to research and development.
Based in our Ipswich Head Office, the research and development team undertakes projects on behalf of the Group and external customers. Their knowledge and experience of the entire foiling process continues to deliver groundbreaking developments.
Research projects are varied, stretching from redesigned foil trays to bespoke tax collecting systems and the transfer of proprietary die technology to the Bank of England.
The research and development team has invented the Micro-POISE™, POISE™ systems and the Securigrafix® and Datafoil® die technologies with its most recent invention being the Photografix® die technology. The Micro-POISE™, POISE™ and Photografix® are subject to patent protection.
The team welcomes enquiries from all of our customers and associates. The Micro-POISE™ and POISE™ apply holograms and other foil images to protect documents at the point of issue.
